Dr. Henry Chalfin

Dr. Henry Chalfin is a graduate of New York University School of Dental Medicine, and subsequently did his post-graduate residency in Endodontics at Kingsbrook Hospital. He then went on to achieve Board Certification, attaining the status of Diplomate, American Board of Endodontics. During his 25 + years in practice, he has been active in numerous dental organizations, including the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, New York County Dental Society, as well as various study clubs and other professional organizations. He is a past President of both the New York Chapter of the American College of Dentists, and the New York Academy of Dentistry. Early in his career, Dr. Chalfin had developed particular skill in the area of non-surgical retreatment, and has published a number of papers, and lectured extensively on the art of retreatment, including the removal of posts and other obstructions in order to successfully retreat teeth which might  have otherwise been lost.  In addition to his private practice, he is also currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine.
